Cabling and Bracing
Cabling is the practice of using cables to reduce strain on weak crotches and to minimize the risk of faliure.
Bracing is the use of steel rods to secure split or weak crotches of trees. Done properly, cabling and bracing are tools to save a tree that may otherwise require removal.
